Description

Wild Kingdom - This week we will learn all about animals! Field Trips this week include Wildwood Metro Park for a program about Mammals in Ohio and a trip to Indian Creek Zoo! We will also be starting our garden this week!

The World Around Us - This week we will learn all about Plants, Weather and Insects.  We will be tending our garden, watching the amazing bees in their hive and learning all about our Ants!  Field trips this week include Strawberry picking and a petting zoo!

Jurassic World -  This week we learn about all things Prehistoric!  Field trips this week include U of M Natural History Museum and Fossil Park where we get to try our hand at being a Paleontologist.

The Great Outdoors - This week well learn just what "roughing it" means as we build our own shelters, cook our lunch over a campfire, visit the Botanical Gardens and watch a movie under the stars "Funagin's style!"

The Funagin's Olympics - Our Olympics' week will challenge each child's determination and endurance with a team or on their own to do their best in event like sack race, tug-of-war or obstacle course and finish with a sense of pride and accomplishment!

Description

Farewell Camp - This is the final week at Funagin's Summer Camp. Each child will be constructing their own memory box for the special times with trinkets collected thorough our time together. We will be harvesting the fruits of our labor in our garden and enjoying fellowship!

Description

Our Summer Camp program provides a 10-week day camp, June 5 – August 11, held Mon – Fri, 9am – 3:30pm, with Extended care from 6:30am - 9am and 3:30 - 6:00pm included in the cost. Kids are grouped by ages and guided by Camp Counselors who inspire, mentor and nurture kids, while keeping both minds and bodies active.

Camp is open to children entering Kindergarten -6th Grade (entering this Fall).

Funagin's onsite activities include roller skating, skate lessons, Laser Tag, Skymaze, arcade games, team building games & activities, arts & crafts, culinary fun, STEM experiments, water wars, gardening and more. The camp focuses on non-stop adventure, education and skill building. Every week features a different theme filled with unique events. Campers will enjoy offsite field trips two days a week(most weeks). Tuesdays and Thursdays are field trip days. Mondays and Fridays we swim, and Wednesdays we invite other camps in to join us for an afternoon of skating, laser tag, Skymaze, games and inflatable fun. “We are the camp other camps come to for fun and ENTERTAINMENT, not babysitting!”
